   hey guys, satch didn` stop his solo career, he just recorded an excellent, nice old fashioned rock-album with three other great guys. his performance as an equal band member is great, and the whole thing shows they had a good time in the studio. don’t be afraid, joes next album will be coming up for shure. too bad they only play one show in germany, (hamburg) i’d have loved to see them in munich.

   I’m a Satriani Fan, I absolutely love the guys music, so U could imagine my disappointment when he stopped his solo career, especially after an epic album like professor sacthafunkilus, but I thought I’d give Chickenfoot a chance and I’ve grown to love the album, all Satriani’s great melodic writing and cool solo’s are still there, and I’m pretty impressed with chads drumming, Anthony and Hagar ain’t to shabby either, for the haters give the album a chance U’ll be pleasantly surprised!

   Sat hasnt sold out. If you know his catalog he wrote alot of different types of music,not just rock. Besides Sat. has wanted for years go play as part of a ensemble.

   you’re right, Satriani has sold out a bit, I’m not denying that, however, his guitar playing hasn’t gotten any worse, and with chickenfoot, he’s just playing, a different style of guitar, one that doesn’t focus solely on his guitar playing, but one that DOES focus on the rest of the band, and I respect your opinion, but I feel like the fact that you’ve chosen to say that Satriani is playing pop rock is an invalid statement, for he hasn’t chnged, his style of music simply has.

    I like Satriani’s music, but now I see his new band and listen to his last album I can’t think Joe is playing pop rock. Lyrics are horrible, riff too awful and disgusting boys! I cry for the old Joe’s performances!!!

    You’d have to be on crack to say that Joe Satriani ’sucks at guitar’. That’s like saying you don’t like blowjobs. It just doesn’t make sense.

    I don’t like Chickenfoot as a whole though, they’re kinda lame.
