The secret is to study, study, study… and to listen, listen, listen. All you have to do is listen and study and you can succeed in school.
No, too few students know the “secret”. The secret incorporates: how to behave, how to adapt to each of your different teachers, how to study for success, how to be successful without making yourself hated and envied by your peers…among others. This requires that you be flexible and aware enough to change depending on the environment.
Some students are too rigid and others are not aware enough of the environmental differences to adapt and change successfully. Some do not care one way or the other as they plan to drop out when they’re old enough.
Interesting idea would be to train students in these skills to see if they improve in school.

stay out of the relationship business because that really takes the concentration away…..dont hang out too much with friends on a daily habit, because u have to remember that friends are only there for THAT moment….sure, you can have fun, but just dont rely on that too much, or else when the time comes when u really need ur friends, they might jus not help u…….only family can rely on…..and most of all, jus remember who you are doing the education for (setting up a roll model for other children, family, secure life, etc.) hope this helps =]
You are getting some very good answers so I will not add to them. You obviously know some of the secrets.
Now ask yourself and the others what is the secret for success in life and does success in school prepare you for success in life. Those are even more important.

Study, listen, set a goal, ask questions, follow-through on your tasks toward your goal(s), and keep in touch with good relationships and connections.
in my opinion, as long as you do your homework and actually try to study a little for tests anyone can be a sucessful student
ORGANIZATION….if you are organized that would enable you to find all of your necessary needs to help you study and prepare for that days task.

The secret to success is to focus on your education, not have a boyfriend, not hanging out with your friends on a daily basis, and study everyday. Just don’t overdo it. You can really get stressed. Well I’ll see you at school on Monday in first period. Bye. I hope my suggestion helped! =]
The secret to success in school is 1) Listen to your teachers 2) Study for your tests a day or two ahead of time 3) Take notes in class 4) Ask for help if you don’t understand something and 5) Surround yourself with good friends who work hard in school.
